Q: When & why did you start Marnie Ellyse Photography?
A: Marnie Ellyse Photography first launched in April of 2019. To be honest, it was after being photographed so much for engagement photos and for our wedding, that I realized my love for photography. After our wedding, I interned with a local photographer, bought a camera, and the rest of history. Here we are today, almost a year later, absolutely LOVING it.
Q: Tell us a little bit more about you!
A: I was born and raised in Minnesota, but am now nestled in Fort Worth, Texas with my husband, Matt. I graduated from Bethel University with an Accounting and Marketing degree in December of 2018. As of now, I work full-time in public accounting and in my spare time I am a Motherhood and Portrait Photographer.
Q: What type of services do you offer?
A: I offer photos of all kinds, but mainly focus on Lifestyle & Portrait photography. The majority of my sessions are newborns, maternity, families, and seniors. I focus on capturing stories and allowing people to feel confident and valued in who God has created them to be.
Q: If you had to describe your business in one word, which word would you use?
A: One word...now that is tough. I’d have to choose: God-honoring.
In everything I do, I strive for it to be honoring to God.
Q: What's your favorite part of doing what you do?
A: My fav part of my business is connecting with my clients and editing photos after a session. There is something so peaceful about editing and creating something so beautiful. My clients are my #1 focus and I love getting to know them throughout the booking process and during our sessions together. They are a reason I enjoy my job so much!
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: Whenever Marnie is not working or taking photos, you can find her playing board games with friends, traveling, and being active outdoors.
